What to expect at your first dental visit:
Latest research shows that your dental health and your overall health are very much linked to one another. Having good dental health, a balanced bite, and biocompatible dental products (those that are non-allergenic, non-reactive and not energetically interruptive with your body) can actually solve a number of health problems. For this reason, your first appointment will usually be a comprehensive dental exam, oral cancer screening and general health consultation. You should allow 45-90 minutes for your first appointment. We will usually take any needed dental records and dental xrays at this appointment. Dr. Feasel will go over the findings, talk to you about any concerns you have, answer questions and make his recommendations.
● Our office uses digital xrays, which have minimal radiation. If you have had
radiographs taken at another office within the last year, you may want to arrange
to pick them up or have them mailed to our office prior to your appointment with us.
● If you have certain health conditions, your doctor may want you to be pre-
medicated with antibiotics prior to any dental appointments. If you are unsure,
ask your medical doctor if this is required.
● We do our best to stay on time for your appointment. We reserve an appointment time just
for you, and ask that you plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early for your appointment to allow time
for parking, etc. To save time, you can print forms here and bring them with you to your first
appointment.
